Entry forms for the 2010 Prestwick Boys Open, to be played at Prestwick St. Cuthbert GC on Tuesday 6th July, are now available on line.
The entry form, which can be used for multiple entries, can be downloaded via the link on the left of this page under the 'Junior Fixtures' heading.
The Prestwick Boys Open, for the Scott Gillon Trophy, was first played thirty years ago, in 1980, and is a counting event in the Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit.
Previous winners of the trophy include four players who went on to play in The Walker Cup later in their amateur careers. The players concerned were Jim Milligan (1980), Paul Girvan (1983), Dean Robertson (a987) and Gordon Sherry (1990).
Entries for the 2010 competition close on 23rd June and the event is open to all boys who were under 18 years of age on 1st January 2010, are members of a recognised golf club, and hold a CONGU handicap.
