Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle) won the 2009 Hillhouse Cup at Royal Troon on Sunday 24th May with a scratch score of 75 which gave him a one stroke victory.
In a difficult day for scoring, the CSS rose from 75 to 78 (reduction only).
Hamilton's score left him one stroke ahead of Stephen McBlain (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) and the Troon Welbeck duo of Del Chamberlain and Joe Gilligan.
Fifth place went to Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy holder Paul Moultrie (Troon Portland) with a 78 whilst Michael Smyth (Royal Troon) and Paul Robinson (Largs) shared sixth place on 79.
