AYRSHIRE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - quarter final line up complete

The line up for the quarter finals of the 2009 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions competition was completed this week with the remaining 3rd round ties being decided.

Of the five third round ties decided recently, one resulted in a walkover whilst the remaining four all resulted in home wins.

Scott McCahill (Maybole) had a 6 & 4 home win over Gregor Dickson (Largs), David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) beat Bert Ferguson (Royal Troon) by 3 & 2, Andrew Carroll (Drongan) won 5 & 4 against Jamie MacPherson (Whiting Bay) and John Shanks (Irvine) had a one hole win over local rival Peter Bond (Irvine Ravenspark).

Neil McCormack (New Cumnock) had a walkover against Chris Harkins (Ayr Belleisle).
