SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP - Drummond shares leading Scot distinction after round 1




Ross Drummond from Prestwick shares the diStinction of being top Scot after the first round of the 2008 Senior Open Championship being played at Royal Troon this week, after shooting a one over par 72 on Thursday.

Scottish amateur John Fraser also returned a 72 to match Drummond's score, with both players lying 4 shots behind the leaders.

Of the other players providing the local interst, Sam Torrance finished one behind Ross Drummond on 74 whilst Bill Lockie scored 79.
