AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Brown takes early lead


Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie) - pictured right - is the early leader in the 2007 Ayrshire Junior Order Of merit, with the results of 5 counting events concluded so far.
In recent events, a runners up place at Prestwick St. Cuthbert, a fourth place at Largs and a win at Loudoun pushed Brown's total to 210 pts.
Malcolm Pennycott (Whiting Bay) is in second place, courtesty of a runners up spot at Loudoun and a third place at West Kilbride, whilst four players share third spot on 100 points.
The results of the competitions at Troon Welbeck, Girvan and Kilmarnock Barassie are still awaited.
