The Ayrshire under 18 team were narrowly defeated in their latest match in the West Of Scotland inter county league for the Wishart Trophy, when they went down by 4.5 - 3.5 to Sirlingshire at Ballochmyle on Sunday 9th July.
The match was close throughout but Ayrshire lost two crucial matches on the final green, to turn the match in Stirlingshire's favour.

ANDREW RIGHT (Kilmanrock Barassie) beat H. Nelson (Kilsyth Lennox) 2 holes
CHARLES DOYLE (Troon St. Meddans) lost to J. Dimmock (Falkirk) 8 & 6
