Prestwick St. Nicholas' Stuart Robin (Prestwick Academy) and West Kilbride's Cameron Gray (Glasgow High) combined to secure a point in Scotland's 2.5 - 3.5 defeat by England in the weather shortened Schools International at Glasgow Gailes on Monday 19th September.
The Ayrshire pairing secured 3 & 2 win over Ben Bernamont (Warwickshire) and Andrew Smedley (Notts) in torrential rain and strong winds.
With the weather condintions showing no sign of improvement by lunchtime , officials decided to cancel the scheduled afternoon singles matches.
In the girls match, Scotland faired better with a 2 - 1 win over England in the morning foursomes, with the afternoon singles also being cancelled.
