PRESTWICK ST. NICHOLAS - Lawrie retains Arrol Cup

Former Scottish internationalist Gavin Lawrie (Prestwick St. Nicholas) retained the Arrol Cup over his home course on Saturday 17th September with a 1 over par 36 hole total of 139 giving him the trophy by 4 strokes, ahead of clubmate Gavin Paterson, on 143.

Stephen McBlain (Prestwick St. Cuthbert), a greenkeeper at St. Nicholas, used his knowledge of the course to good effect, particularly in the afternoon round with a two under per 67, to secure third place on 144 by virtue of the best second round over John Cairney (Irvine Ravenspark).

The Leading 36 hole totals were :-
