Wit home games remaining, against closest challengers Belleisle and Largs, Kilmarnock Barassie remain slight favourites to progress to the final, although they can aford no slip ups in what is proving to be a very closely contested section.
In Section 2, West Kilbride strengthened their grip on the section with a 4-0 win at Welbeck. Ballochmyle maintained their position with a 3-1 home win over Welbeck whilst Ravenspark and Ardeer fought out a 2-2 draw at Irvine. Presnt positions in the section are:-

West Kilbride are almost assured of a semi final place as a result of their wictories so far. Both Ballochmyle and West Kilbride travel away in thie final fixtures, to Ravenspark and Ardeer respectively. Only a 4-0 defeat of West Kilbride, coupled with a 4-0 win by Ballochmyle would deny West Kilbride a place in the final.
