AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - Chase for semi final spots continue

The chase for the semi final places in the Ayrshire Women’s Handicap League Championship continues, with all qualifying section matches due to be completed by early August.

With just four fixtures remaining to be completed in SECTION A, Prestwick St Cuthbert lead the way at present with just an away fixture against Caprington to play.

Kilmarnock Barassie’s qualification hopes hinge on two remaining fixtures at home to Caprington and away to Troon Welbeck, while Caprington have crucial home matches against Prestwick St Cuthbert and Troon Welbeck to play, along with their visit to Kilmarnock Barassie.

In SECTION B, Loudoun lead the way following a 2-2 draw at home to Ayr Belleisle Ladies.

With five fixtures remaining to be played the qualification places for the semi finals are still up for grabs.

Loudoun face a trip to Ballochmyle in their final fixture, one of three home fixtures remaining to be played by Ballochmyle while Ayr Belleisle Ladies and Largs have still to meet in their respective home matches against each other.
