AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - Semi final line up confirmed as qualifying section ties are completed

The semi final line up for the 2024 Ayrshire Women's handicap League Championship has been confirmed after the remaining qualifying section matches were completed recently.

In SECTION A Largs finished top of the table, competing their fixtures with a 2-2 draw at Ballochmyle and a 3.5-0.5 win at Prestwick St Cuthbert.

Ballochmyle finished their campaign with a 3-1 home win over Prestwick St Cuthbert while Loudoun took the other semi final place, finishing just ahead of Kilmarnock barassie after a 2-2 draw away to Ballochmyle in their final fixture.

Final placings in Section A were:-

In SECTION B, Caprington finished on top while Ayr belleisle failed in their bid for the second semi final spot ahead of Troon Welbeck, when they lost their final home match to Caprington by 4-0.

The two semi finals are due to be completed by the 25th of August.

Largs will host Troon Welbeck in the first semi final while caprington will host Loudoun in the second semi final.

The winners of the two semi finals will meet in the final at Ballochmyle during Finals day on Sunday the 1st of September.
