AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Draw for inaugural championship confirmed

The field for the inaugural Ayrshire Women's Matchplay Championship, sponsored by Lomond Property, has been confirmed and the draw published.

The cut for the championship, to be played at Rowallan Castle GC 26th of from Monday the 24th to Wednesday 26th of June fell at 90, with the available players returning the best eight scratch scores in the Ayrshire Women's Strokeplay Championship at Prestwick GC on Sunday the 2nd of June, securing a place in the field for the matchplay event.

With the new Ayrshire Women's Strokeplay champion Caitlyn Bilham unavailable for the matchplay championship, the strokeplay championship runner up Liz Keohone (Loudoun) is the leading qualifier for the new matchplay event. 

If any qualifier becomes unavailable prior to the matchplay championship they should contact the Ayrshire Golf Association Secretary by email at ayrshire.golf@btinternet.com as soon as possible, to allow a reserve to be brought in.
