A World Golf Rankings counting event, the 36 hole championship will be defended by Colin Goudie (Ayr Belleisle) who won his first Ayrshire title at Western Gailes last year.
The players returning the sixteen best 36 hole totals on the day will progress to contest the 2024 Ayrshire Men's Matchplay Championship at Rowallan castle GC from the 6th to the 9th of May.
