7.5-0.5 at Kirkhill on Sunday the 22nd of October to win the West of
Scotland Inter County A league, by tie difference, from Ayrshire, who finished
their campaign with a 6-2 away win over Glasgow at Glasgow Gailes. In the other
outstanding fixture, Renfrewshire beat Stirlingshire 4.5-3.5 at Stirling.
Lanarkshire’s win is their first in the A League since their successes in 1999 and 2000.
