Ayrshire trail Lothians by 2-1 after the morning foursomes in the Scottish Men's Area Team Championship final ay Paisley Golf Club on Sunday the 10th of September.
After the leading two ties were lost by 1 hole and 3&2 respectively, the final pairing of Steven Stamper and John Shanks secured a vital point in the anchor tie, winning the final hole with a par 4 for a 1 hole victory
Ayrshire now need to win four of the six afternoon singles to add to their three previous championship wins.
