AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Loudoun take advantage in Division 1 survival bid

Loudoun have the advantage over Turnberry in their bid to retain their Division 1 status in the Ayrshire Scratch leagues, following the first leg of the Division 1/2 play offs which took place on Sunday the 17th of September.

Though Craig Telfer and Scott Brown took the opening two ties against John Haggarty and Tommy McInally respectively, the remaining four Loudoun players all won their ties to give their club a 4-2 lead going into the second leg match at Turnberry on Sunday the 24th of September.

Match Details (Loudoun names first):-

John Haggarty lost to Craig Telfer by 1 hole

Tommy McInally lost to Scott Brown by 2 holes

Stevie Smith beat Scott Campbell by 3&2

Chris Bone beat Paul Ferguson by 4&3

Scott Gilchrist beat Craig Robertson by 3&1

Greg Jarvie beat Gordon Boyle by 3&2

In the Division 2/3 play offs Troon Portland have a 4.5 - 1.5 lead over Ardeer following the first leg over the Portland course.
