The Ayrshire Boys' team suffered defeat in their opening fixture of the 2023 West of Scotland Inter County Boys' League on Sunday the 11th of June, going down by 5 - 3 to defending champions Lanarkshire.
The match looked like being a close fought affair throughout and proved to be so, but it was the visitors who edged over the line to take their second successive win in this year's championship.
Ayrshire's next fixture is on Sunday the 2nd of July against Dumbartonshire at Clydebank & District.
