THE AYRSHIRE JUG - Mixed greensomes knockout competition at the quarter final stage

The inaugural Ayrshire Mixed Greensomes Knockout competition for The Ayrshire Jug has reached the quarter final stage, with the remaining three third round ties progressing to extra holes before the winners were decided.

Jean Tannock & Robert Dalziel (Troon Welbeck) were taken to the 20th hole by their visitors Carol Moffat & James McGhee (Caprington/Loudoun) before winning their place in the last eight, whilst Patricia Harris & Neil Wilson (Ballochmyle) also had a home win in round three, though they were taken to the 22nd hole by their visitors Alistair & Jane Belford (Prestwick St Nicholas).

Pauline and Bob Cameron (Ayr Belleisle/Belleisle Ladies) had a win at the first extra hole in their away tie in round three against Ken & Elizabeth Goodwin (Prestwick/Belleisle Ladies) to go forward to the last eight.
