AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE - Ties well under way in both qualifying sections

Ties are well under way in both qualifying sections of the inaugural Ayrshire Women's handicap League Championship, as teams battle for a place in the championship final.

In recent matches in SECTION A, Troon Welbeck had 2 - 2 draws at home to Loudoun and away at Prestwick St Cuthbert and suffered a 4 - 0 defeat at Kilmarnock Barassie, who made it two home wins from two with a 2.5 - 1.5 win over Prestwick St Cuthbert.

The winners of the two qualifying sections will play off for the trophy and the inaugural title on Finals day at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC on Sunday the 3rd of September.
