AYRSHIRE MEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - latest update

Several recent fixture results have been confirmed in the seven qualifying sections of the 2023 Ayrshire Men's Handicap League Championship competition, as clubs battle it out for places in the knockout stages of the competition.

In SECTION A, Home wins by Ardeer and Kilbirnie Place, by 5-1 and 5.5-0.5, over Kilmarnock Barassie and Royal Troon respectively leaves all four clubs tied on 8 points at this stage of the qualifying.

In SECTION B, Alton lead the way following a 3.5 - 2.5 home win over Prestwick St Cuthbert, and a win by the same scoreline by Prestwick St Cuthbert in their home match against Troon St Meddans.

Auchenharvie 88 maintain their grip on SECTION C, with a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over Stewarton in their latest fixture, while Ayr Seafield moved into second place following successive victories over North beach, by 5.5-0.5 at home and 3.5-2.5 away.

 In SECTION D, West Kilbride moved joint top with Ballochmyle after a 4-2 home win over Routenburn.

In SECTION E, Annanhill moved clear at the top of the table with a 5-1 nome win over caprington whilst Prestwick St Nicholas beat their visitors from Moorpark by 3.5-2.5 to move into second place.
