AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - League Championship and Champion of Champions updates

In the Ayrshire Junior Golf league Championship, matches are well under way in both qualifying sections.

In SECTION A, East Ayrshire opened with a 5 – 1 win away to Ayr Belleisle, whilst Prestwick St Nicholas and West Kilbride also got off to winning starts with 3.5 – 2.5 wins, St Nicholas winning away at Ayr Belleisle and West Kilbride beating Ayr Belleisle at home.

In SECTION B, Irvine extended their lead at the top of the table with a 4 – 2 win away at Troon Welbeck and a 5 – 1 win at home to Kilmarnock Barassie.

In the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY competition, Ryan Kennedy (Loudoun) had a first round walkover against David Blyth (Ballochmyle) and now faces an away tie against Cameron Shanks (Caprington) in the quarter finals.

The quarter finals, which are due to be completed by 31^st July, are:-
