AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Half the quarter finalists now confirmed.

Four of the eight quarter finalists in the 2022 Ayrshire Fourball Championship have been confirmed after recent matches.

All the clubs presently through to the last eight are in the top half of the draw.

George & Grant Gemmell (Prestwick St Cuthbert) beat their visitors Billy Pollok & Sandy Riddell (Skelmorlie) by 3&2 to book a home tie in the quarter final against Wullie & Billy Smith (Stewarton) who were given a walkover in their third round match by Adam Holland & Robert McGuckin (Doon Valley).

Lee Paton & John Houston (Abbotsford) will host Greg Niven & Andrew Morton (Kilmarnock Barassie) in the quarter finals, after third round wins against Alistair McHarg & Sandy Hamilton (Ballochmyle) and Joe Jolly & Alex Dunsmuir (New Cumnock) respectively.

The remaining four third round matches are due to be completed by the 19th of June.
