AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Royal Troon begin Division 1 with away win at Loudoun

Royal Troon have launched their first season in Division 1 of the Ayrshire Scratch leagues with a fine away win in their opening fixture at Loudoun.

The visitors won the match, played on Sunday the 8th of May, by 4.5 - 1.5, with the match details as follows (Loudoun names first) :-

J Haggarty beat R Jenkins by 1 hole

G Jarvie lost to B Morton by 1 hole

C Bone lost to S Machin

S Brown halved with K Smith

S Gilchrist lost to S Russell by 6&5

B O'Rourke lost to D Gaya by 4&2

In DIVISION 3b, Prestwick St Nicholas and Irvine Ravenspark shared the spoils in a 3 - 3 draw over the St Nicholas links at the beginning of May.

A number of matches in all four divisions are scheduled to take place during the remainder of May.
