WEST OF SCOTLAND INTER COUNTY LEAGUES - Ayrshire face Glasgow in 2021 opener

Ayrshire will face Glasgow in the opening series of matches in the 2021 West of Scotland Inter County Leagues on Sunday the 19th of September.

The A team open with what is an away fixture, but which will be played locally at the Gailes Links of Glasgow Golf Club.

The first match sees debuts for two Ayrshire players, 2021 West of Scotland Strokeplay champion Daniel Forbes (Irvine) and Adam Sweeney (Prestwick St Cuthbert), club champion of his home club and a member of the two club teams who won the Ayrshire Club Championship and the Gary Bryden memorial salver this season.

Sunday's matches are the first in a series of five, played over successive weekends, during September and October.
