SCOTTISH GOLF PERFORMACE PROGRAMME - Applications for 2021 - 2022 now invited

Applications for the 2021 - 22 Scottish Golf Performance Programme have now opened and players who meet the following eligibility guidelines are invited to apply for the performance programme. 

Criteria are based on age of the player on 01/01/2022

 

Boys & Men

Under 16 (born on or after 1st January 2006)

Handicap 3.0 or less

Under 18 (born on or after 1st January 2004)

Handicap 0.0 or less and in top 1500 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

Over 18 transition (born between 1st January 2001 and 31st December 2003)

In top 1000 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

Over 18 

In top 500 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

Girls & Women

Under 16 (born on or after 1st January 2006)

Handicap 8.0 or less

Under 18 (born on or after 1st January 2004)

Handicap 2.5 or less and in top 2000 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

Over 18 Transition (born between 1st January 2001 and 31st December 2003)

In top 1500 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

Over 18 

In top 500 of World Amateur Golf Rankings

 

The following additional factors will also be taken into consideration.

- Player application form

- Improving profile of results in National/International Championships

- Improving key playing statistics recorded in Golf Data Lab (GDL) (if applicable)
