Assistant Greenkeeper

Loudoun Gowf Club is a private member’s golf club which was founded in 1909 and is situated on the outskirts of Galston, East Ayrshire. Set over a parkland setting the club continues to invest in improving and renovating various areas on the course.
The position of Assistant Greenkeeper has become available and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our hard working and committed team. The successful candidate must be hard working, have a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
He/she must have a proven track record and be able to demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 3 years experience
NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in greenkeeping.
Able to carry out all greenkeeping tasks to a very high standard.
Understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
PA1, PA2A and PA6 spraying certificates.
A full UK driving licence.
A flexible approach to work as some rota based weekend work and seasonal hours are required
Ideally play golf or have an understanding of the game of golf.
Be able to work on their own and as part of a team.
