THREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS CANCELLED BUT ENTRIES OPEN FOR OTHERS

Following the recent update from the First Minister on Tuesday 23 February, Scottish Golf has taken the decision to cancel the first three National Championships of the 2021 season.

The events affected are the Scottish Boys’ Open Championship at Lundin Links on 7 – 9 April, the Scottish Girls’ Open Championship at Longniddry on the same dates and the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship at Royal Troon on 16 – 18 April.

There are no plans to reschedule these events in 2021.

The holding of future scheduled national events will be decided a few weeks before the scheduled date if restrictions likely to affect their completion are still in place.

Entry for the remaining Scottish Golf National Championships are now open on the Scottish Golf App and Website.

The full national Championship schedule can be viewed on the Scottish Golf website, where the relevant entry conditions and details can also be found.

Scottish residents with a Scottish Golf CDH number can enter on the Scottish Golf App and Website.

Non-Scottish residents with a Non-Scottish CDH number can enter on the Scottish Golf Website.

The Scottish Golf App will provide all on-course scoring at the National Championships in 2021, and will also provide users with live tournament leaderboards and GPS that provides accurate course information for each of the host venues.
