DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Scott Brown leads with one event to play

Scott Brown (Prestwick St Cuthbert) leads the chase for the 2019 Doc Thom Ayrshire Order of merit title, with just one counting event remaining to be played this season.

In the penultimate counting event at the weekend, The Stone Trophy at Routenburn GC in Largs, Jack Whent (Largs) took maximum points with a scratch score of 72, one ahead of George Higgins (West Kilbride).

The remaining counting event is the 36 hole Arrol Cup which takes place on Saturday 21st September at Prestwick St Nicholas, and the title chase is sure to provide an exciting finish with one of four players still in a position to claim the title.
