Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) posted the best individual score for the Scotland team in the first round of the European Mens team Championship on Tuesday 9th July at Liunghusen Golf Club in Sweden, which helped the Scots to third place after the opening round of the competition.
The six man Scots team posted a five score total of 353 to lie two shots adrift of joint first round leaders England and Ireland.
The six individual scores for the Scotland players were:-

James Wilson - 70
Jamie Stewart - 71
Sandy Scott - 72
Ryan Lumsden - 73
Euan McIntosh - 73
The positions after the opening round are:-
351 - Ireland, England.
353 - Scotland , Sweden.
359 - Spain.
363 - Iceland
366 - Denmark
368 - Austria, France
369 - Netherlands, Germany
370 - Wales
371 - Belgium
372 - Finland
377 - Czech Republic
387 - Slovenia
