Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) boosted his Walker Cup selection hopes again this week when he finished runner up in the 2019 European Men's Amateur Championship, played from 26th to 29th June at the Diamond Country Club in Austria.Rounds of 70, 72, 68 & 66 gave Walker a 12 under par total of 276 to leave him three behind the winner Matthias Schmid from Germany and three clear of his nearest challengers for the runner up spot.
