DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Johnston still in front after Scottish Amateur Championship

Jim Johnston (Ayr Belleisle) remains the clear leader of the Ayrshire Order Of merit, for the Doc Thom Salver, following the Scottish Amateur Championship, the latest counting event.

Johnston picked up additional points for his quarter final appearance at Blairgowrie, to extend his lead in the order  of merit table.

Sandy Buchanan (Prestwick St Nicholas) remains in second place whilst Scott brown (Prestwick St Cuthbert) moved into third place following his first place finish at the recent Rowallan Castle Open competition.

The next counting event is the Troon St Meddans Open on 11th August.
