AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Close encounters as league campaigns enter their last few matches

There is still everything to play for as the four Ayrshire Scratch Leagues near their conclusion, and the title destinations and play off places become a little clearer.

In DIVISION 1, league champions Prestwick St Cuthbert completed their matches for the season on Friday night with a 3 – 3 draw at home to Kilmarnock Barassie, a result which eased Kilmarnock Barassie a little further away from the division 1-2 play-off position.

Irvine consolidated their second place position with a 5.5 – 0.5 win at their near neighbours Irvine Ravenspark, who are already destined for Division 2 next season, whilst Turnberry boosted their survival hopes with a 4-2 home win over Loudoun on Sunday afternoon.
