Matches in the 2018 Ayrshire Handicap League Championship competition are progressing well, as clubs bid for a place in the semi finals of the event this year. With over 80 matches already played over the four qualifying sections, the destiny of the semi final place in each of the four sections remains in the ballance.
In SECTION A, Royal Troon moved to the top of the standings
following a 3.5 – 2.5 win away to Troon Merchants Whilst Ayr Dalmilling kept
the pressure on the leaders with a 4 – 2 win at home to Kilmarnock Barassie.
In
the other match played recently, Braehead lost 2 – 4 at home to Loudoun.
