The remaining first round ties in the 2018 Ayrshire scratch club team knockout competition for The Gary Bryden Memorial Salver were completed last weekend, leaving sixteen clubs to battle it out for the trophy this year.In the two outstanding first round ties, Ardeer had a 2-1 home win over Brunston Castle to secure a visit to Troon Welbeck in round two whilst defending champions Prestwick St Cuthbert received a walkover from Tam O Shanter. the St Cuthbert team will be at home to Ayr dalmilling in round two.
