AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - All four leagues remain close

All four Ayrshire Scratch leagues remain closely fought affairs, as the competitions enter the last few weeks of fixtures.

In DIVISION 1, the early pace is being set by defending champions Prestwick St Cuthbert and past champions Irvine, who remain in second place behind St Cuthbert following a 3 – 3 home draw against Loudoun.

In DIVISION 2, Ayr Belleisle move into pole position with a 4 – 2 home win over Troon St Meddans whilst at the foot of the table Ballochmyle fought out a 3 – 3 draw with their visitors from Largs.

In DIVISION 3, Troon Portland lead the way alongside Prestwick St Nicholas, following a 5.5 – 0.5 home win over Rowallan Castle last Sunday.
