HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - All four league sections under way.

All four of the Ayrshire handicap league championships are under way. bidding to qualify for a place in the final in September.

In LEAGUE A, Stewarton and Troon St Meddans had home wins by 4.5 – 1..5 against Drongan and Royal Troon respectively whilst Ballochmyle recorded a fine away win by 4 – 2 at Loudoun.

In LEAGUE B, Irvine Ravenspark and Troon Welbeck met at Irvine recently, with the Ravenspark team running out as home winners by 4 – 2.

In LEAGUE C, Prestwick St Cuthbert recently opened their challenge with a 3 – 3 draw at home to Ailsa Craig.

In LEAGUE D, Prestwick St Nicholas crushed their visitors from Kilbirnie Place by 5 – 1 whilst Ayr Dalmilling went one better when they defeated their hosts from Tam O Shanter by 6 – 0.
