AYRSHIRE SENIORS LEAGUE - Ballochmyle and Ardeer lead title chase

Ballochmyle and Ardeer are neck and neck in the chase for the 2016 Ayrshire Seniors League Championship, following completion of the matches scheduled to be played in July.

A 3.5 – 1.5 home win over Prestwick St Nicholas and an away win by the same score at Troon Welbeck allowed Ardeer to match Ballochmyle’s total at the top of the table after Ballochmyle beat  Irvine Ravenspark at home by 4.5 – 0.5 in their only match in July.

A number of other clubs, with games in hand, can still make a move on the leaders in the remaining fixtures to be played in August and September.
