Alistair Belford (Prestwick St Nicholas) was the leading Ayrshire player in the West Of Scotland Seniors Championship, played at West Kilbride on Thursday 30^th June and Friday 1^st July.

Belford’s two round total of 149 left him just three shots adrift of the winning score of 146 (+4) recorded by David Shields (Glenearn) and Malcolm Reid (Sonning).
