A total of eight of the thirty fixtures in
Division 1 of the Ayrshire Scratch leagues have now been completed, with
Kilmarnock (Barassie) now holding a slender lead in the table.
In recently completed matches, Irvine had a
5 – 1 home win over Ballochmyle whilst Kimarnock (Barassie) beat Prestwick St
Cuthbert by 4 – 2 over the Barassie Links, although the St Cuthbert team
exacted revenge with a 3.5 – 2.5 win in the corresponding fixture at Prestwick.
