Turnberry moved to the top of Section A of
the Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship competition recently.
Despite losing 4 – 2 away to Troon St
Meddans, a 3 – 3 draw away to Irvine moved the league newcomers to the top of
the table, just ahead of Ayr Belleisle and Irvine, who both have a game in hand
over the leaders.
West Kilbride kept their hopes alive with a
3 – 3 home draw against Ayr Belleisle.

In Section B, the opening match of the
section saw Prestwick St Cuthbert record a 4.5 – 1.5 home win over Loudoun.
