Best for Ayrshire at Monifieth

Paul Moultrie (Royal Troon) was the best placed of the Ayrshire players in the Scottish Seniors Golfing Society Spring Meeting, played at Monifieth on 28th and 29th April.

Conditions were testing over both days at Monifieth resulting in a CSS of 75 on day one and 75 r/o   on day 2.
 
 10 Ayrshire players were in a full field of 141  with the entry cut off falling at 6.4.
 
Nick Robson (Old Meldrum) was the outright winner with an aggregate of 149.
 
PaulMoultrie (Royal Troon)  led the Ayrshire contingent finishing fifth equal on 151 with Gary Cochran (Ravenspark) a further 2 shots back in fourteenth place. Campbell Devlin (Turnberry) finished joint 20th.
