DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Smyth and Telfer take early lead

With two counting events now completed, Michael Smyth and Greg Telfer are joint leaders in the race for the 2016 Ayrshire Order Of Merit and the Doc Thom Salver.

Ayrshire Strokeplay Champion Telfer and Matchplay runner up Smyth jointly lead from Charlie Macneal (Prestwick) and the new Ayrshire Matchplay Champion John Shanks who are tied third.

The next counting event is the Hillhouse Cup at Royal Troon on Sunday 15th May.
