AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Latest competition results

A number of results have been posted recently in Ayrshire Junior Golf League competitions.


In the LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP, Turnberry and Irvine have both opened with 4 - 2 home wins, over Ayr Belleisle and West Kilbride respectively, in Section A, whilst no fixtures have been played yet in Section B.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT TROPHY, Ayr Belleisle beat Prestwick St Cuthbert 3.5 - 0.5 over the Belleisle course to reach the quarter finals whilst Turnberry are also through to the last eight, courtesy of a walkover in their away tie against Irvine Ravenspark.

In the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY, Euan Ferguson (Turnberry) had a crushing 8&7 home win over David Stark (Caprington) to reach the last eight where he joins Andrew Shaw (Prestwick St Cuthbert) and Elliot Spence (Loudoun) who are also through to the quarter finals so far.
