Former Ayrshire Golf Association President Angus Macphee passed away, suddenly but peacefully, at Crosshouse Hospital on Friday 4th March 2016, at the age of 93.A schoolteacher by profession, Angus was long associated with his home club, Kilmarnock (Barassie), and following his retiral from teaching he became involved in county golf administration as a member of the Ayrshire Golf Association Executive, culminating in his election as President of The Association from 1992 to 1994.
Angus was predeceased by his wife Mary, and sincere condolences are extended to his children Catherine, Marion and Douglas, and the extended family, from all at The Ayrshire Golf Association.
The burial service will be a private family ceremony.
