SCOTTISH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP - Mid table finish for Largs at Fortrose & Rosemarkie

Largs finished eighth of the sixteen teams who contested the 2015 Scottish Club Championship competition over the Fortrose & Rosemarkie course on Sunday 20^th September, their 293 total leaving them 15 shots adrift of winner Haggs Castle.

Despite the mid table finish by the team of David Macdonald, Iain Macdonald & Gregor Dickson, there was an outstanding individual performance by David Macdonald, who was returned the second best overall individual score of the day.

Macdonald’s successive rounds of 70 for a two under par total of 140 was a single shot adrift of the best individual total of 139 ( 69 – 70) posted by Paul Gault of the winning Haggs Castle team.
