With six weeks remaining in this years competition, the Ayrshire Scratch leagues are moving towards the conclusion of title and relegation issues.
In DIVISION 1, The holders Irvine are in pole position to
retain the title with a clear lead over second placed Kilmarnock (Barassie) who
beat Ballochmyle by 6 – 0 at home to secure second spot, whilst newcomers
Prestwick St Cuthbert helped consolidate their place in the top league with a 6
– 0 home win over Ballochmyle recently.

boosted their chances with a 4.5 – 1.5 home win over New Cumnock and Kilbrinei
did the same with a 6 – 0 home win over Prestwick St Nicholas, though St
Nicholas eased their relegation worries considerably with a 4.5 – 1.5 win in
the corresponding fixture at Prestwick.
