EUROPEAN MENS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - McDonald helps Scotland to quarter finals

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) helped Scotland to qualify for the quarter finals of the European Mens Team Championship at Halmstad GC in Sweden on Wednesday 8^th July.

Scotland total was ten shots better that their opening day score with Jack McDonald, Grant Forrest, Ewen Ferguson and Connor Syme all scoring one under par 71’s which, along with Graeme Robertson’s 73 gave the team a total for the day of 357 and an overall team total of 724 which saw them qualify in sixth place.

Greig Marchbank’s score of 76 was the non counting score on day two.

722 - France, Denmark
724 - Scotland
730 - England, Sweden.

In the quarter finals on Thursday 9th July, Scotland play third placed qualifiers Spain.
