Ayrshire recorded their second successive victory in the 2015 West District Inter County matches at Loudoun on Tuesday 16th June, beating Lanarkshire by 6 1/2 - 2 1/2.The morning foursomes proved to be very tight with all three ties finishing on the final green, but it was Ayrshire who emerged from the tussle with a 3 - 0 lead to go into the afternoon singles.
In the singles, Connie Jaffrey lost in the top match to Rachael Taylor but three wins and a half match from the other team members out of the remaining four ties gave Ayrshire the singles by 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 and the match by 6 1/2 - 2 1/2.
