AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Troon St Meddans out in front in Division 3.

Troon St Meddans have got off to a storming start in Division 3 of the 2015 Ayrshire Scratch leagues with two wins and a draw from their opening three fixtures.

Their latest win was a 6 – 0 home victory over Largs, who themselves won their first home fixture of the year, by 4 – 2 against Kilbirnie Place.

In DIVISION 4, newcomers Troon Portland lead the way following a 5 – 1 home win over Brunston castle in their second fixture of the year.

Rowallan Castle opened their season with a comprehensive 5 – 1 away win at Moorpark

In DIVISION 2, things are tight with four teams on four points at present. 

Ayr Belleisle began their bid for the title with a 4.5 – 1.5 home win over Ardeer whilst Girvan beat West Kilbride, also at home, in their season’s opener. 

In the other match played recently, Turnberry had a notable 4 – 2 away win at Ardeer.
