Ewen Ferguson (Bearsden) won the Scottish Champion Of Champions title at leven at the weekend with a thirteen under par total of 271 after rounds of 67, 69, 69 and 66.Ayrshire's John Shanks (Irvine) played with Ferguson over the first two rounds and eventually finished joint sixteenth on two over par 286, following rounds of 72, 73, 70 & 71.
The other Ayrshire player in the field, Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) finished tied in forty second place with a 23 over par total of 307, comprising rounds of 76, 73, 82 & 76.
